Associate Traffic Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer (Associate level) currently based in regional Victoria, north of Melbourne, to join our growing team.
In this role, you will manage traffic engineering projects for our existing regional clients while also identifying and developing new client and project opportunities. You will mostly work from home, with regular visits to our Ivanhoe head office to collaborate with and integrate into the broader team.
Projects will include traffic impact assessments, road safety audits, car parking demand assessments, car parking studies and black spot project development, across public and private sector clients.

Graduate Electrical Design Engineer
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join our supportive and high-performing engineering team.
Working closely with the Electrical Design Manager and senior engineers, you will gain hands-on experience delivering electrical designs for public lighting and power distribution on a wide range of infrastructure projects across Victoria. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to build a strong technical foundation in electrical and lighting design within a consultancy environment.

To apply for a position, you need to download the Position Details of the vacant position you are interested in. If it does, visit the seek.com job posting and submit your resume and a cover letter explaining why you are a suitable candidate. Depending on the position, there may be additional questions you need to answer. Make sure you fill them out correctly, honestly, and completely.

Applications will be reviewed after the closing date or sooner, as noted in the Position Detail summary. The review process will take approximately two weeks. If you do not receive any communication from us within this time frame, your application has not been shortlisted and will not progress to the interview stage. If you have been shortlisted for the position, we will notify you via email with details about a short online interview. This interview will be conducted with at least one Director and another senior Trafficworks employee. The aim of this interview is to evaluate your suitability for progressing to a face-to-face interview.
If you are not successful in progressing to a face-to-face interview, you will be notified of this outcome.
The face-to-face interview will usually take place at our office and will last around 45 minutes to an hour. During the interview, we will ask you a series of questions and/or scenario-based activities to gain a better understanding of your technical and behavioural skills.
If you are the preferred candidate, we will contact your referees to verify the information you have provided on your resume and, assess your competencies and skills for the role, understand your work ethic, reliability, and behaviour in a professional setting. We try to ensure a good, cultural fit between you and us.
Once we talk to your referees and are satisfied with your suitability, we will formally offer employment.
Unsuccessful candidates who were interviewed will be contacted directly by Trafficworks, informed of the decision, and provided feedback if requested.
