FAQs

To apply for a position, you need to download the Position Details of the vacant position you are interested in. After downloading, please read the information carefully to ensure it matches your preferences. If it does, visit the seek.com job posting and submit your resume and a cover letter explaining why you are a suitable candidate. Depending on the position, there may be additional questions you need to answer. Make sure you fill them out correctly, honestly, and completely.

Please note that applications will only be accepted via seek.com and not directly via our email address.

Applications will be reviewed after the closing date or sooner, as noted in the Position Detail summary. The review process will take approximately two weeks. If you do not receive any communication from us within this time frame, your application has not been shortlisted and will not progress to the interview stage. Please note that we will not be sending any notifications at this stage.

If you have been shortlisted for the position, we will notify you via email with details about a short online interview. This interview will be conducted with at least one Director and another senior Trafficworks employee. The aim of this interview is to evaluate your suitability for progressing to a face-to-face interview.

If you are not successful in progressing to a face-to-face interview, you will be notified of this outcome.

The face-to-face interview will usually take place at our office and will last around 45 minutes to an hour. During the interview, we will ask you a series of questions and/or scenario-based activities to gain a better understanding of your technical and behavioural skills.

If you are the preferred candidate, we will contact your referees to verify the information you have provided on your resume and, assess your competencies and skills for the role, understand your work ethic, reliability, and behaviour in a professional setting. We try to ensure a good, cultural fit between you and us.

Once we talk to your referees and are satisfied with your suitability, we will formally offer employment.

Unsuccessful candidates who were interviewed will be contacted directly by Trafficworks, informed of the decision, and provided feedback if requested.
